Samsung announced in the US market, the new SL630 (aka PL80) point-and-shoot digital camera. Like its little brother, SL600, SL630 has a 12.2-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with 28mm wide angle and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The SL630 includes optical and digital Samsung Dual Image Stabilization.
Sony announced the Cyber-shot DSC-W370 and DSC-W350 digital camera with a CCD image sensor that provides innovative swivel panorama function. The 14-megapixel W370 and W350 Cyber-shot models can to 243 and 268-degree panoramic pictures, or a simple press-and-sweep, thanks to the panoramic sweep function.

Sony announces at the CES 2010 two new Cyber-shot cameras are HX5V DSC and DSC-TX7 the first compact digital cameras in the world to 1080i HD (1920 x 1080 60i) Advanced Video Codec High Definition (AVCHD) video capabilities.

Rollei introduces Flexline 100 inTouch digital camera with a simple design. InTouch has a 10-megapixel CCD image sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch touchscreen display. The camera includes an integrated image processing functions such as removing red eye. The Flex Line 100 even offers a high-speed serial picture function, which takes 30 pictures per second.
Besides the Leica MP Golden Camera, Leica M8.2 launched the Limited Edition 60th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China to celebrate. Again, the M8.2 has speicals Mao Zedong Front Type ??????? ?? (Long Live the People’s Republic of China) and red calligraphy Tiananmen Square pattern. Only 100 pieces are available and each cost 53,890 Chinese Yuan (U.S. $ 7895).
