WD SiliconEdge Blue 256GB Solid State Drive

WD announced the new SiliconEdge Blue series MLC-based Solid State Drive (SSD) to the SLC-supplement based SiliconDrive N1x. The 2.5-inch SSD uses SATA 3Gb / s interface and provides maximum read speed of 250MB / s and write speeds of up to 170MB / s.  The SiliconEdge Blue offers maximum tolerance for drop, shock.

Also for vibration as quiet and low-power operation and help trim and NCQ (Native Command Queuing) command. It is available in 64 GB available (model SSC-D0064SC-2100), 128 GB (model SSC-D0128SC-2100) and 256 GB (D0256SC SSC-2100), the capacities priced at $ 279.00, $ 529, 00, and $ 999.00 respectively.
