Kingston announced the DataTraveler 5000, a new ultra-secure USB flash drive with Secured by SPYRUS technology, the hardware platform supports 256-bit AES-XTS FIPS 140-2 Level 2 and Level 3 certification pending. He also uses XTS cipher mode and also uses Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithms for the Suite B standards to be met by the U.S. government.

The Data Traveler 5000 is capacities in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB has titanium-coated stainless steel casing and waterproof.
