Onkyo intoduced its new BD-SP808 Blu-ray player that provides Blockbuster on-demand movie streaming service. The Blockbuster On Demand service allows customers to find specific films and once paid the title on DVD and Blu-ray, without selecting a monthly fee.
ViewSonic Europe introduced the ViewPad 7 Android 2.2 Froyo Tablet. The ViewPad comes with a full 3G functionality of the phone, and MMS/SMS. The ViewPad 7 is a 7-inch touchscreen, a 3-megapixel main camera, VGA front camera, Bluetooth, GPS / AGPS support, WiFi and microSD card slot.
Asus launches the 90-XB1300DR00010 Extreme Slim External DVD burner with an ultra thin and compact, light square form factor that measures just 14mm thick. The drive works with USB 2.0 interface and has a 1MB cache. It writes DVD + /-R 8x, DVD + /-R DL at 6x, DVD + RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD-RAM at 5x, and CD-R/RW at up to 23x.
Motorola introduced MOTO MING A1680 Android smartphone at its MOTODEV developer website. The Motorola A1680 Ming is the first series with Android and it’s a clamshell with a transparent door. The phone has a similar to that of the Ming XT806 set for China Telecom’s CDMA network to support.
There are details and pictures about the upcoming Toshiba Tablet device, the Toshiba Folio 100. The tablet is supposed to run on Android 2.2 Operating and based on Nvidia’s Tegra-2 platform. The Toshiba Folio 100 tablet is one sport 10.1-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels.
