Acer will release Aspire AS8940G-6865 Core i7 notebook PC

Acer will release this Christmas season in the new Aspire AS8940G-6865 Core i7 notebook PC. The new Aspire notebook is enhanced with an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz processor, 4 GB DDR3 memory and January 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce graphics card GTS250M. The 18.4-inch Aspire AS8940G-6865 packs a 500-GB 5400-rpm hard drive and a 4x Blu-ray/DVD combo drive.

Aspire AS8940G-6865 has CineCrystal with 18.4-inch LED-backlit display is 1920 × 1080p Full HD resolution. The notebook supports 802.11a/b/g/n, an Acer Crystal Eye webcam, a multi-in-1 card reader, an HDMI port and an eSATA port.

Acer Aspire AS8940G-6865 is equipped with a 5-speaker sound system and offers Acer CineSurround features Dolby Home Theater audio enhancement. The machine also has a capacitive touch Media Control Interface. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. At $ 1349.99, Priced an 8-cell battery is included.
