TI TPA2011D1 Class-D Audio Amplifier for Portable Devices
Texas Instruments announced the TPA2011D1 the smallest class-D amplifiers for portable audio devices. It offers 3.2-W, mono output, and comes with an integrated digital-analog converter (DAC) noise filter audio codec with up to 82 percent reduction compared to devices without feature.
Feature:
- 3,2-D produced at 4 ohms with 5 V-22 percent sound louder than competing solutions, with no audible pop, a common challenge in portable devices.
- Integrated DAC DAC noise filter reduces out-of-band noise of 82 percent brighter sound. The integrated image reject filter provides a low-pass cutoff frequency of 130 kHz, which could eliminate the need for an external filter for the input for the component count and lower costs.
- The 1.2-mm x 1.2 mm, 0.4 mm-pitch, 9-Ball Wafer Chip Scale Package (WCSP) saves space and simplifies board design.
- 1.5-mA quiescent current results in 50 percent less energy than other amplifiers for higher efficiency and improved battery life of the battery.
The TI TPA2011D1 is Avalaible in a 1.2-mm x 1.2 mm, 0.4 mm pitch, 9-ball WCSP and is $ 0.85 for quantities of 1,000.
