Synology DiskStation DS110j and DS1010+ NAS Servers introduced

Synology introduces Disk Station DS110j and the new DS1010+ network attached storage solutions. This DS110j + DS1010 supports both iSCSI and storage management, DLNA / UPnP Media Server and iTunes server. Both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard disks / SSD support.

The 1-bay Disk Station DS110j is increased from a 800-MHz processor and 128 MB memory. It supports up to 2 TB of capacity, plus three USB 2.0 ports for external hard drive. It is a Gigabit Ethernet port.

The Disk Station DS1010 +, on the other hand, is a 5-bay NAS D510 powered by Intel Atom 1.67 GHz dual-core processro, 1GB RAM. It supports up to 10 TB (2TBx5) capacity and comes with four USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA port and two Gigabit Ethernet LAN. The DS1010 + supports JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 5 + Spare, RAID 6 configurations.
