Sigma announced the new SD15 digital SLR camera is the successor to the SD14. The new SD15’s Foveon X3 equipped with a 14-megapixel image sensor and TRUE II image processor. It has a 3-inch LCD screen. The Sigma SD15 features 77-segment AE sensor, 5-point autofocus, ISO 50-3200, RAW recording, a built-in flash with 17mm angle of coverage.
And a durable shutter mechanism has a lifespan of more than 100,000 cycles. The DSLR camera and mirror lock-up mechanism, and two motor system to avoid camera shake. It uses the SIGMA SA bayonet.
