Dell OptiPlex 980 Desktop PC and FX100 Zero Client

Dell announced the new OptiPlex 980 desktop PC and the FX100 commercial zero-client solution. From € 807, packages the OptiPlex 980 Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor and the optional SSD for better performance and reliability. The Dell FX100 Zero is a perfect slim desktop for the Remote Desktop and Virtual Dedicated Remote Workstation Solutions.

It uses PC-over-IP technology (PCoIP) and does not require a processor, operating system or the image of the company to manage. The FX100 has a fan-less and stateless driverless form factor.
