Are you serious about your privacy and security? There are not many (if any) cryptographic sure you to buy phones from the shelves, but Android phones could only be able to fulfill it for you quickly. The Guardian project intends to establish a Guardian Android device that would secure an anonymous browser, encrypted e-mails, phone calls and synchronize data securely.

This would be an Android-compatible device, with a tweaked firmware update. Tweaking would probably removing some hardware drivers, fiddling with the kernel, run-time, virtual machine, and update (or replace) some existing applications. If everything goes well Peachy Keen, the end user should not notice all these tweaks, and the phone still has the better security and privacy features. If they’re concerned about privacy enough to go this route or do you think the current Android-powered phones on the market safe enough? A video about this project is available after the jump.
